O equipamento combina tecnologia de internet das coisas (IoT), c\u00e2meras de alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o e intelig\u00eancia artificial para identificar o inseto sem impactar outras esp\u00e9cies.<\/p>\n<p>O prot\u00f3tipo do dispositivo foi desenvolvido como parte de um projeto financiado pela Funda\u00e7\u00e3o de Amparo \u00e0 Pesquisa do Estado de S\u00e3o Paulo (FAPESP), em parceria com os Minist\u00e9rios da Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Inova\u00e7\u00e3o (MCTI) e das Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es (MC). O equipamento possui um formato dodeca\u00e9drico, com 50 cent\u00edmetros de altura, e funciona por meio de um sistema inteligente que integra diferentes tecnologias.<\/p>\n<p>Os mosquitos s\u00e3o atra\u00eddos para a armadilha por uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o composta de \u00e1gua, a\u00e7\u00facar e ferom\u00f4nio. Uma c\u00e2mera embutida, equipada com vis\u00e3o noturna e diurna, captura imagens dos insetos em tempo real. Um algoritmo de intelig\u00eancia artificial processa as imagens e identifica as esp\u00e9cies, diferenciando o Aedes aegypti de abelhas e borboletas, por exemplo.<\/p>\n<p>Quando o sistema identifica um Aedes aegypti, ventoinhas frontais s\u00e3o ativadas automaticamente, direcionando o mosquito para um recipiente com l\u00edquido viscoso, onde ele fica retido. Esse sistema facilita a an\u00e1lise de movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e densidade populacional dos mosquitos, oferecendo dados estrat\u00e9gicos para a\u00e7\u00f5es de controle epidemiol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n<p>Testes conduzidos em laborat\u00f3rio e em \u00e1reas abertas, como pra\u00e7as e c\u00f3rregos de Santa Rita do Sapuca\u00ed, mostraram que o dispositivo tem uma taxa de precis\u00e3o de 97% na identifica\u00e7\u00e3o do Aedes aegypti, 100% no caso das abelhas e 90,1% para borboletas. Os resultados laboratoriais foram confirmados pelos experimentos em campo.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Pr\u00f3ximos Passos e Desenvolvimento<\/h3>\n<p>Os pesquisadores planejam aprimorar o design e reduzir os custos de produ\u00e7\u00e3o para viabilizar a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do dispositivo em larga escala.
